Responsibilities include:

Develop and provide terminology management guidelines as needed.
Research and write definitions where appropriate. Determine the translatability of terms that have context information but no definitions. Be able to recognize and correct conceptual mistakes.
Understand the interconnectedness and relationships among people, processes, and tools.
Communicate complex concepts in both writing and verbally (especially over the phone)
Consult with teams who need specialized help.
Project management with outstanding communication skills to deliver customized terminology management support to Content Publishing teams.
Effectively balance and resolve conflicts between quality, schedule, and resources

Qualifications:

Degree in terminology management, computational linguistics, lexicography, information science, technical communications, or equivalent (advanced degree preferred)
Demonstrated experience with terminology management tools and database
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of database design
Previous experience in content publishing (at least 2 years in an editorial role)
Understanding of writing for international audiences, machine translation or localization issues.
Experience working with IT Pro terminology
Demonstrated skill in negotiations, able to meet deadlines
Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational & communication skills

Candidates must have a work permit for the United States.
